Contemporary Irish wooden jewellery, handmade in Ireland.
These wooden pendant earrings are made up of two intersecting planes of native Irish yew wood, one natural and one ebonised. They are polished with Burren wildflower beeswax, sealing and protecting the wood and enhancing the colour and the grain.
These earrings are large, statement pieces, measuring 8.2cm x 2.5cm, and they have the advantage of being very lightweight. They are attached to a sterling silver ear post with a butterfly back.
Each piece is made from locally sourced, sustainable Irish wood and so will be completely unique. While the size and shape will be as pictured, there is considerable variation in the colour and grain in every piece of wood.
Every purchase comes beautifully packaged as pictured, and makes a perfect and unique Irish gift. If you would like to include a handwritten gift note with your order just pop your message in the box at checkout and I'll do the rest.
All of my jewellery is made to order and I allow 3-5 business days from ordering to shipping. However, if you need something in a hurry please contact me directly and I will try to facilitate you. For those of you with sensitive ears, I can make any of my earrings with surgical steel findings instead of sterling silver, please get in touch if you would like me to make you a pair.
