Ethos

I come from a family of designers and makers with a strong appreciation for natural and locally sourced products and materials, and I have continued to carry these values into everything I make. I am especially interested in the meeting point between ethical, sustainable design and exciting new technologies such as laser cutting. I love the idea of using what natural materials are available to us right here on our doorstep, rather than importing things from the other side of the world. To me it makes sense both in terms of working with the environment instead of against it, as well as maintaining a direct connection to the place where I live and work. I am passionate about nature and the outdoors and their preservation, and my goal when making anything, whether it's a piece of jewellery for you, or some clothing or a handbag just for myself, is to respect and reflect these values in all of my work.
